Weight in Gold

She smiles frequently
Not much else she'll let you see
That's the way I'd like to be
Will she ever frown for me

She's got a pair of eyes
In perpetual surprise
And you know they realize
Everything you say is lies

Oh, and I'm falling down, I'm falling down a ways
Oh, and I'm falling down

She isn't of this earth
Sorrow just as good as mirth
Been a Buddha since her birth
That weight in gold she's worth

She hides a lot from view
Only speaks when spoken to
Is she happy, is she blue
Knowledge that I wish I knew

Oh, and I'm falling down, I'm falling down a ways
Oh, and I'm falling down, I won't get up
I've gone too far and I won't stop
And I could see her next to me
And I could wait eternally
I will

I spoke to her today
Didn't know just what to say
I can tell that either way
Things are gonna be okay

She smiles frequently
Not much else she'll let you see
That's the way I'd like to be
Will she ever frown for me
